You may bring your pet here for emergency care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A veterinarian is always in the hospital to care for your animal. Appointments are not needed for the emergency service. You do not need to call ahead, however, if you are able to call prior to your arrival (608-263-7600), it will help us prepare for your pet's emergency needs. The Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital is able to provide the highest level of critical care services for your pet. Our board-certified critical care specialists have access to the full range of specialty services and equipment in the hospital. Doctors in other specialties are available to be called in at any time to assist with treating your pet as determined by your pet's condition. |
