Information for Referring Veterinarians

When You Arrive at the Hospital:

For companion animal appointments (cats, dogs, and other small animals), check in at the reception desk. Be ready to provide your vehicle's license plate number for free parking.

Large Animal clients can pull up to the gate closest to the hospital. The gate will automatically open. Before unloading your animal, check in at the large animal reception desk. Large animal hospital staff will assist you with unloading your animal.

If You've Been Referred:

• Consult with your local veterinarian to arrange a referral. Depending upon the circumstances of the referral, either you or your veterinarian may schedule the appointment.
• Please bring any medical information with you at the time of the appointment.
• If you cannot keep your appointment, please call 608-263-7600 OR 1-800-DVM-VMTH.
• If follow-up care is recommended, please arrange for an appointment at the time your animal is released from the VMTH.
